Young people in Essex are the future property owners of tomorrow. We at Concordia want to support them, helping them to flourish and grow. Our ethical approach as managing agents means we want to give back to our communities. We do this via both sponsoring Tendring Volleyball Club and by giving our time to the Give An Hour Campaign.
Tendring Volleyball Club
Tendring Volleyball Club in Essex are a local sports club who make a big difference in the world of volleyball. From humble beginnings at Tendring High School (now Tendring Technology College), a junior team was formed bringing volleyball into the mainstream for many youngsters back in the early 1990s. Many of the junior players continued their love of the sport by going on to become professional players, national players and coaches. They, in turn, have worked tirelessly to grow and promote the Club from the ground up. By doing so, they have been spreading the volleyball message to as many schools as possible and supporting every new generation of young player to become the best they can be.
The Club now boasts senior, young senior and junior teams for men and women, boys and girls. Tendring Volleyball Club competes in the National Volleyball League, Eastern Regional League and the Essex Volleyball League. This is as well as partnering with primary schools, secondary schools and the Performance Volleyball Programme at the University of Essex. Concordia Residential Ltd are honoured to provide support for such a fantastic local organisation, encouraging the development of sport to become a way of life for many.

Give An Hour
The Give An Hour campaign, run by The Careers & Enterprise Company is a Government funded initiative. It’s design is to prepare and inspire young people for the fast changing world of work. Concordia Residential are assisting with educational establishments in Essex, to give students extra knowledge and skills for their future working lives. Part of our contribution is to share our experience of operating a business. We also help with CV writing and interview skills, as well as sharing our career journeys.
Many of the young people in Essex that we have encountered find it surprising that more qualifications than they expect may be needed in the world of property management. With our IRPM and RICS qualifications as well as our RICS regulation, we are well placed to give students a overview of our industry and how it could be a great option for them.
